BEER AND WINE ARE CLASSICS for casual summer entertaining, but don’t stop there. Pick an interesting selection of beer and keep it on ice. Grab a great but inexpensive red and white wine, and pour them into glass pitchers. Add some fresh apple or peach wedges to the pitchers and you have the perfect summer drink. Don’t forget a nonalcoholic selection as well; sparkling water with lemon and lime wedges should do the trick.
